The fair value game

I previously reported on the recent discussion of fair value reporting at a recent SEC Roundtable. I also referred to the IASB project on fair value measurement. The discussions in the USA will no doubt be great input to the IASB. As I said before the IASB current project does not deal with the assessment of fair value reporting itself but deals with fair value measurement considerations.

The SEC is seeking further input but the due date is July 23 2008.
