A number of teaching resources on IFRS will be made available to Canadian Academics by the CICA this fall. Check out the following link.

Three items are of note
IFRS teaching supplements for university and college courses in introductory, intermediate and advanced accounting
The CICA has brought together a team of IFRS professionals from Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers, along with several accounting academics and our prequalification education specialists, to prepare learning packages to supplement current accounting text books for introductory, intermediate and advanced accounting courses in universities and colleges across Canada.
IFRS Test Materials and Case Studies
The CICA, in conjunction with academic experts in IFRS, is rewriting selected UFE questions from 1996 to 2006 from an IFRS perspective. Questions and case studies will be made available to university and college accounting academics for classroom use.
Implementing IFRS in Canada
This book of approximately 1,000 pages will provide practical explanations and illustrations of IFRS application from a Canadian perspective. Using extracts from the financial statements of companies in other countries that have already adopted IFRS, it will examine how presentation and disclosures might differ from Canadian GAAP.
Our American friends will be very interested in this material when it comes out as they strategize the teaching of IFRS in their Universities.
I would like to commend the CICA website to you to keep checking up on the resources that are freely available. You can sign up for an e-mail.
