New on line TV Channel for Chartered Accountants

What you have been waiting for a TV Channel especially for Chartered Accountants

Oh other accountants are welcome and even non-accountants

London-based television producers GlobalPathways are working with the UK-based Institutes of Chartered Accountants of Australia, New Zealand and South Africa to produce broadcast quality programming specifically designed to engage, entertain and stimulate Chartered Accountants. This programming will include 10 hours of verifiable CPD per year.

It's interesting I don't see any IFRS stuff but then I did not sign up with the fee to check out the verifiable CPD section.

The new channel has just started and promises to deliver content on the "soft"skills required by Chartered Accountants - like marketing.

What would Monty Python make of this? Remember the lion taming sketch that completely takes the mickey (British saying) out of Chartered Accountants.

I will be following this. I like to see accounting becoming hip.

No it's not April Fools Day - this is serious.
